**Mō te tūranga | About the role**

As the Kaituitui Tamariki Ora you will provide administrative support to our Tamariki Ora kaiārahi and Well Child nurses. You will also undertake Hearing & Vision assessments during B4 School checks working alongside the nurses. This role is an integral point of contact for whānau support, providing whānau with knowledge that encourages pēpi and tamariki to thrive and support a positive future. Identifying wider whānau needs, you will connect with other Tui Ora services and assist whānau to navigate other whānau ora services.

Administration and co-ordination support include general calendar management of the team and accompanying the kaiarahi or nurses when necessary. You will co-ordinate appointments with whānau for outreach immunisations and B4 School checks.

**Kia ekena a angitū | To promote success in this role, you will have**
- New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) Vision and Hearing Screening Strand or willing to achieve this
- Ability to connect and build meaningful relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills and able to take responsibility for completion of tasks
- Work cooperatively with others in a proactive manner to achieve results in alignment with Tui Ora objectives
- Passion about Māori health, wellbeing and thriving whānau
- A full, clean NZ Driver Licence.
