**The role**

Based within our local multi-disciplinary team in Queenstown your role will see you forming part of a broader and highly regarded team of Civil Engineers and Technical Specialists. The project portfolio includes interesting and challenging work and the team have a history of working on a wide variety of local landmark projects. This opportunity will allow you to work broadly across the full project life cycle and across the spectrum of civil engineering packages associated with the design and build of new commercial buildings, public buildings, hospitals, schools etc and across a variety of industry sectors. Projects will be situated across the Queenstown and Southern Lakes district and wider New Zealand regions. You will be working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and clients. You will be working with great autonomy but with the tools and support you require to be successful.

**About you**

You will be an experienced Civil Engineer with an interest in continuing to develop your expertise. You will be someone who embraces the development opportunities that come from working across a variety of industry sectors, civil engineering components and across the full project lifecycle. You will have the confidence to work with a good degree of autonomy within a multi-disciplinary consulting environment.

You will also,
- Hold a tertiary level qualification in Civil Engineering
- Be experienced working with a range of clients, multi-disciplined engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Have experience gained working on New Zealand based projects
- Sound knowledge of relevant New Zealand codes and standards
- Experience with seismic design and analysis is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a broad range of team members and clients.
- A valid NZ driver’s license
