**About the Company**
This highly successful civil contracting business operating New Zealand wide boasts a very strong pipeline of live and upcoming projects throughout Otago and New Zealand. They now have an immediate need for a civil
**project engineer **to join their experienced team on a permanent basis.

**About the Role**
The successful
**project engineer** will be supporting the delivery teams on a range of civil projects, which will heavily involve local councils and various other private clients. Projects will primarily involve road construction, 3 waters, and bulk earthworks. As
**project engineer** you will provide technical support to the construction team and liaise with the client's representatives regarding technical queries. You will manage subcontractors, undertake procurement, QA/QC, planning & programming of works and traffic management, cost control and progress reporting.

**Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering/Project/Construction Management
- 4+ years' civil construction experience as Site/**PROJECT ENGINEER** for Civil Contractor
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage the client interface
- Strong Pipeline of Work
- Highly Reputable Civil Company
