**We are looking for a food safety expert to ensure our food safety obligations are met consistently to standard The role is 30 hours a week and working roster to be discussed with successful applicant.**

As the Food Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing safe food for sale and consumption by managing our food safety system to its required standards.

**The Role**:

- Manage the effective implementation and day to day running of the approved food safety plan for the supermarket.
- Work with department managers to inform, train, manage and review required food safety outcomes.
- Organise and provide relevant food safety training
- Manage any food safety related customer complaints.
- Manage any foods safety product recalls through appropriate system.
- Actively promote and develop workplace food safety culture with our team members.

**What are we looking for?**
- Relevant food safety system management experience in a supermarket or food production facility - essential
- A confident person with an eye for detail and system management.
- A fantastic attitude, work ethic and a passion for making a workplace great.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and good people management skills.
- Able to build good relationships with managers, team members and other stakeholders.
- A leader able to engage team with food safety and complete tasks with urgency and humility.
