**Job Description**:
We have a great opportunity for a highly experienced supply chain professional to step into the position of Chapter Area Lead for Logistics. This is a senior position in the organisation and would suit someone currently at a traditional GM level, Chief Officer level, or a similar equivalent role in an agile organisation.

As the Chapter Area Lead for Logistics, you will report to the Chief Product Officer and play a critical part in optimising TWG’s customer experience by ensuring we have the right product quantities, in the right locations, at the right time, and through the right channels. You will be responsible for providing the essential craft to ensure demand appropriate handling of our product from going to our Distribution Centres and then also to our many stores.

For this role we need someone who is not only a strong leader and craft expert but who excels in collaboration as the role will work very closely with our Source to Customer Integrated Supply Chain Tribe Lead and our Supply Chain Execution Tribe Lead. In other words, as the Chapter area Lead you will lead the provision of craft (skills, know-how and resources) that best serves these Tribe to deliver their KRAs.

Within your team you will lead and develop the following areas: Inbound/Shipping; Transport; Distribution Centres (8x DCs serving our 5 Brands); Fulfilment Centres (3x centralised FCs and several store FCs) and the DC support functions. Your key responsibilities will include:

- People management - having the ability to build, lead and develop diverse and geographically remote teams
- Support the Logistics team in delivering improved employee engagement and measurable improvement in productivity eg SixSigma, LEAN, KANBAN
- Identifying Supply Chain value drivers and optimising for productivity
- Deliver meaningful partnerships with strategic partners and vendors
- Supporting sustainability, innovation and automation in the supply chain processes
- Connect our ways of working both upstream and downstream (source to shelf)
- Establish and achieve continuity and non-continuity availability and stock turn targets
- Effectively manage Logistics lowest cost to serve
- Work collaboratively with the Tribe Leads and Chapter Area Leads on projects like network optimisation transformation, continuous improvement initials and the transformation roadmap.
- Build business cases ensuring approval and funding is in accordance with good governance standards
- Managing day to day delivery on approved initiatives ensuring resources are adequate, productive and effective in delivering beneficial outcomes

**Qualifications**:
You will be someone who can think strategically and who demonstrate servant leadership with your innate ability to work collaboratively and create an atmosphere of trust and productivity. You will also bring proven supply chain transformation experience and problem-solving skills into the team while maintaining a view of the ‘big picture’ and the strategic organisational goals.

Your key qualifications and qualities will include:

- 15+ years of progressive leadership roles within multi-site product supply centres, ideally within a retail environment
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations related field
- Experience in a high volume, high SKU, fast moving environment
- Proven experience in supply chain transformation/automation
- Strong ability to set strategy to deliver outcomes and execution of business plans
- Track record of leading large change management projects
- Experience at working in a “performance based” environment and fostering it within the team
- Experience in dealing with issues on an international basis
- Technical aptitude - having the ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialised information
- Demonstrates the ability to working under pressure while driving the team to deliver against set objectives
- Displays strong agility by shifting priorities and issues inherent to a fast-growing organisation
- Demonstrates customer centric and data driven ways of working, and understands how analytics can help improve productivity
- Ability to effectively present and interact with our Board
