Downer have been appointed the Maintenance Contractor for the CRLL City Rail Link C3 project for a period of up to 30 years, the Asset Management and Maintenance Services contract (AMAS). This includes an initial role during the five-year construction period to provide maintenance input and drive Whole of Life (WoL) considerations on a best for project basis.

The core responsibility of the Interface Manager is to lead and co-ordinate the active inputs between the maintenance contract and the construction Alliance. This will be based on the WoL considerations that relate to and impact the Maintenance contract being: zero harm, improved commercial outcomes (risk and or cost reduction), and integration of the customers operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships that align with the Alliance principles at all times. To promote a shared outcomes approach between AT and CRLL and the other Alliance participants
- Bring best in class procurement methodology with a strong focus in terms of the maintenance outcomes.
- Develop and provide high quality and operationally function planning and documentation for the construction and operational phase.
- Work with the client, Alliance and the maintenance teams to educate and promote asset management principles and processes.
- Support development of the maintenance team, providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to ensure technical capability is enhanced.
- Develop, in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager, trust and confidence with Auckland Transport.
- Analyse data and implement strategies to meet the outcome requirements of the contract.
- Lead by example, driving Zero Harm through operational excellence.

- Required to hold tertiary engineering qualification in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procurement and planning best practice in infrastructure or facilities management sectors
- High level of demonstrated consultative skill
- Can build effective relationships with all levels of the company and with appropriate client base
- Ability to influence, train mentor and coach others
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fully integrated team environment
