**The role**:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager. The goal of the Service Asset and Configuration Management will be to maintain information about Configuration Items (CIs) required to deliver an IT service, including their relationships. The role will become the de facto owner of the IToM module in the business’s deployment of ServiceNow.

The Configuration Manager will be responsible for the Service Asset and Configuration Management process, ensuring it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, performing process audits, and managing the process improvement cycle.

**Key deliverables and ownership**:

- 3 years experience in the Telecommunication or IT industry.
- ITIL qualification (preferred)
- Excellent understanding of the Configuration Management process
- ServiceNow experience
- Data management skills, Excel (formulas, pivot), SQL, Power BI
- Strong service delivery management skills, with proven ability to manage expectations
- Ensure that all CI’s and Services are captured and accurately maintained throughout their Lifecycle
- Plan and manage the population of the CMDB, including discovery and other data import methods
- Define and improve the audit process; Monitor and review the execution of periodic audits
- Provide management reporting to customers & CI Owners and perform continuous service improvement
- Engagement with CI owners to support, train and improve
- Develop and implement processes, procedures, and automation to improve operational performance.
- Daily monitoring of successful execution of batch jobs, interfaces, and CI (auto)discovery.
