As a Marine Electronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of marine electronic systems on both commercial fleet boats and pleasure yachts. This is a full-time permanent position with a negotiable salary based on experience and skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair marine electronic systems, including navigation equipment, communication systems, radar, sonar, and other marine electronics.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with electronic systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate electronic systems with other onboard systems.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to provide innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to crew members on the proper use and maintenance of electronic systems.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Marine Electronics Technician.
- Strong understanding of marine electronic systems and their integration.
- Familiarity with commercial fleet boats and pleasure yachts.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant certification or diploma in marine electronics or a related field.
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing marine electronic systems.
- Ability to work in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, and occasional travel as required.
