The Role - Te Tūranga
We have an opportunity for a Senior Adviser, Media Relations to join our External Communications team, with the primary responsibilities of delivering the press office and PR functions with the manager of media relations.

**This includes**:

- Being a key point of contact for all media enquiries
- Writing and preparing media releases, feature articles, and broad range of media content
- Managing media engagement for all our reporting and publications
- Dealing with the media on a range of business topics and regulatory issues

We have offices Auckland and Wellington - this role can be based in either location.
About you - Ō pūkenga
We're looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who is keen to play a key role in a creative and outcomes-focused external communications team.
Key to your success in this role will be your solid communications background and knowledge of the media landscape. Whether your experience was gained in-house, in agency or as a journalist, you'll bring solid writing experience (including ability to translate into Plain English), relationship building skills, a thirst for knowledge and capacity to learn.
You'll be sharing the FMA's regulatory story with a wide audience across a variety of channels, with an opportunity to work with other national agencies that also influence business and the economy.
