**About the role**:
We are looking for an entry level Mechanic to work on completing all tasks to maintain our fleet of electric scooters This role is ideal for mechanically-inclined workers that want to broaden and build their career experiences in a flexible position.

Full technical training on the repair and maintenance process will be provided.

Teamwork is a must, as Mechanics work closely with our Operations Managers to identify key parts of our operation that can be improved and to ensure the safe working condition of our fleet.

This is starting as a casual role with the opportunity to become a permanently ongoing assignment.

**Role**: Mechanic
**Start date**: As soon as possible
**Pay rate**: $23.65 p/h + 8% holiday pay
**Shift times**: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. 40 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for the maintenance of e-bikes in the warehouse
- Work alongside a small team of technicians
- Prepare and check spare parts to streamline repair workflows
- Perform all types of repairs from screw tightening to complete refurbishment of e-bikes/e-scooters
- Assist with day to day in-warehouse operations
- Keep accurate inventory records
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties and ensure our riders are on the safest vehicles
- Maximise the number of operational vehicles in our fleet

**Requirements**:

- Good communicator capable of working in a team and communicating issues clearly
- Motivated, energetic individual
- Tidy, Hard-working & strong attention to detail
- Adaptable & quick learner
- Experience in a bike/scooter workshop preferred
- Smartphone & Technology Proficient

No certifications required but prior warehouse, construction, mechanical, and hand work experience is preferred.

Willingness to learn, a great attitude, and the ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success
