We’re looking for a **Checkout Operator **to join our **Countdown MORRINSVILLE **team

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Face to face customer service at checkouts
- Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
- Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
- Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
- Assist customers through our self-service checkouts

**In this customer-focused role we are looking for our new team member that
- Understands good customer service.
- Help us make customer first decisions aligned to our processes and systems
- Work well within our team and communicate effectively
- A willingness to work on your feet for the duration of your shift
- A friendly smile and welcoming attitude

The shifts times and days for this opportunity are

**Shift 1: Tuesday 1000 - 1400, Wednesday 1500 - 1900, Friday 0700 - 1200 & Saturday 1000 - 1800**
**Shift 2: Tuesday 1600 - 2100, Thursday 1400 - 2100, Friday 1200 - 1830 & Sunday 1400 - 2030
