We seek to employ a full-time Retail Assistant who cares about customers and will assist with store operations.

**Job Responsibility**
- Determining customer requirements and providing product range recommendations in order to sell products.
- Implement industry best practices' to boost sales and profitability.
- Handling Checkouts: Preparing sales invoices and accepting payment for goods and services by a variety of payment methods
- Maintain shelf allotment and shelf tagging and ensure the products are placed in the right place with appropriate labels.
- Dispose of empty cartons and maintain the facility clean, safe and organized.
- Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and participating in stocktakes
- To safely unload and receive inward goods
- To verify and check goods match documentation
- To fill grocery shelves and displays as required
- To re-stack and organise stock within the storage area
- Keeping the store clean and tidy.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the manager.

**You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours and no more than 50 hours per week.**

**Requirements**:

- Being able to stand for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills
- Passionate to exceed individual and store sale targets and KPI's
- Loves to contribute to a team environment
- Able to cover peak periods including weekends and public holidays
- Detail-oriented.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
