We seek to employ a full-time Retail Assistant who cares about customers and will assist with store operations. Applicant should be flexible to travel as he/she have to work on multiple locations.

**Job Responsibility**
- Determining customer requirements and providing product range recommendations in order to sell products.
- Implement industry best practices' to boost sales and profitability.
- Handling Checkouts: Preparing sales invoices and accepting a multitude of payment methods for goods and services
- Maintain shelf allocation and shelf tagging, and position products in the correct location with the appropriate labels.
- Eliminate empty cartons and maintain a clean, safe, and organised facility.
- Regularly examining prices for any disparities and adjusting them accordingly.
- Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, such as cleansing windows, mirrors, and fixtures and mopping the floor.
- Taking care of customer concerns in a professional manner and providing appropriate remedies.
- Using the Point of Sale (POS) system to collect cash from customers.
- Maintaining knowledge of everything in the store in order to provide advice and suggestions when necessary.

**You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours and no more than 50 hours per week.**

**Requirements**:

- Must be New Zealander
- Being able to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to utilize tools for labelling, pricing, and POS software.
- Ability to operate in an environment where frequent change is anticipated.
- Highly skilled at maintaining order.
- Good Interpersonal abilities.
- Customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
