**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

This role is responsible for providing guidance and leadership in the field of emergency management and preparedness. This role plays a role in supporting the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and programmes to enhance Te Whatu Ora ability to respond to and recover from various emergencies.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Experience in emergency management, crisis response, and health advisory roles (in the range of 4+ years).
- Has experience in a supporting a lead role in a Local response.
- Has previous experience at a local level for supporting the development, maintenance of influencing and building mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships.
