Te tūranga - The roleThe Finance Operations team sits within Finance and provides the essential financial support services of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger and some administrative functions for the Finance & Commercial Operations Group and the Bank as a whole. The Financial Administrator is responsible for:

- Maintaining and monitoring the Bank's vendor master file, automatic payments and direct debits
- Ensuring that domestic and foreign currency invoices for payment are captured
- Developing, harnessing and maintaining relationships with cost centre Managers
- Provide support and back-up for the Payroll function when required

You will be working closely with others in a dynamic financial services team of four, you will be part of the journey to transform the current environment into one of greater effectiveness and efficiency. Ō pūkenga - About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Administration and data entry experience in an accounts payable, or similar role. Experience using Tech One or CI Anywhere would be advantage.
- An organised way of working with the proven ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to excellence - producing high quality outputs and demonstrating attention to detail
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to drive high quality outcomes while embracing a changing and fast paced environment.
- Intermediate ability using Microsoft suite - excel being essential.

Your experience working in a financial operations environment will mean you have an in-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable functions along with reconciliation and excel spreadsheet skills.
