**About the Company**:
The Tait-Kordia Joint Venture is a newly established company tasked with constructing and operating a Public Safety Network (PSN). Its primary aim is to enhance the communications capabilities of Emergency Services Agencies by delivering modern and secure communication services, including voice and messaging, while also facilitating improved communication among various emergency service agencies.

**About the Role**:
The Site Acquisition Manager plays a pivotal role in the delivery team, ensuring timely acquisition of allocated sites to meet the construction deadlines outlined in Tait-Kordia and PSN contractual agreements. This role is ideal for individuals seeking their next challenge. This is fixed-term position for two years.

Reporting to the Head of Site Acquisition and based in central Auckland, your primary responsibilities will include the following:

- Manage a group Sites across the whole of New Zealand through to Site acquired.
- Getting sites to a stage where they can be built (Right to Build).
- Negotiation with landowners directly and through management of third party companies.
- Ensuring contractual agreements meet the requirements of Tait-Kordia and key stakeholders.
- Management of sites through consenting and other consultation process working with expert third parties where necessary
- Support the Head of Site Acquisition to meet not only acquisition but also build timelines.
- Work with the design, build, transmission, and power teams to Identify innovative site solutions/locations to ensure sites are acquired in a timely fashion whilst still able to be built efficiently.
- Ensure all contractual commitments with regards to acquisition of allocated sites are met
- Manage the process from start of acquisition through to Site acquired to ensure a mínimal duration between milestones.
- Manage Third party companies to assist with acquiring sites.
- Ad Hoc reporting on progress of all assigned projects.
- Other tasks as specified by Head of Site Acquisition.

**About You**:
We are keen to hear from individuals with the following skills:

- Good understanding of Mobile/LMR networks.
- Good understanding of the requirements for obtaining a site lease.
- Good understanding of the requirements for obtaining resource consents.
- Great negotiation and communication skills.
- 5+ years Telecommunications Site Acquisition experience.
- Ability to multi-task with large volumes of simultaneous sites.
- Self-starter with the ability to self-manage.
- Great organizational and time-management skills.
- Adaptable and possess an ability to work with others and participate on cross-technology teams.
- Collaborative approach and willingness to pitch in and support the team.
