Keen to leverage your Food & Beverage and conferencing management experience? Our F&B team at SkyCity Hamilton are looking for a Conference & Events Manager to lead our Conference & Events team. Reporting to the Head of F&B, you'll be our go-to person when it comes to driving and managing all aspects of our conferences and events business, building a strong culture of excellence in service, products and customer experience.

**A bit about you**:
You'll likely be someone with a strong hospitality or events background, passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes to customers and providing direction, training, and development to your team, with the goal of guaranteeing our service offering is the best it can be.

As well as exceptional customer service delivery, you'll bring:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in hospitality or events, with at least 3 years' experience at a management level
- A team player attitude, with experience in event co-ordination
- Proven experience in the management and training of staff
- A strong continuous improvement focus
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting cost control and P&Ls
- Cultural awareness obtained through being part of a diverse team

It would also be handy if you had some strong industry networks, particularly within the local area.

**The must haves**:
Your written and spoken English language communication, and spelling and grammar will need to be on point. A current General Manager's certificate is essential for this role.
