The opportunity:
Join our Claims Team and manage death claims for our customers, both in a timely and empathetic manner.
You will be responsible for claims assessment, decisioning, accurate payment and managing risk exposure for AIA. In this role, you will be liaising with customers (terminal illness claims), health professionals, advisers, lawyers and other internal/external specialists. You will also be working with insurance providers to ensure prudent medical and financial assessments are conducted and continued throughout the duration of the claim for our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying and analysing data used in paying (or settling) claims to ensure that claims are validated- Gaining knowledge and working on all Life cover products on all systems operated by AIA- Entering claim payments, new claims and update claim files on our Claims Management System (CMS)- Liaising with advisers, lawyers, doctors, medical specialists, and other internal/external providers to obtain additional information.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Proven experience in working in life insurance- Strong empathic and pragmatic approach to problem solving and working with clients- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Superior relationship management expertise with a proven ability to develop positive relationships at all levels- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and able to find solutions that meet our business needs- Understanding/knowledge of risk management and compliance.
