There is a whole lot of interesting and inspiring work to be done in the Health and Safety space and in strengthening our approach to well-being - and we want an experienced, passionate specialist to assist us to take things to the next level.

This role is pivotal -and it’s a chance to really showcase your skills, invest further in your career and experience a sector that’s well, pretty amazing

About you:

- You love Health & Safety, and well-being - with a passion
- Your strategic focus will ensure you make informed recommendations to help us achieve industry leading practice
- You have experience in senior H&S roles within a large, distributed organisation - minimum 5 years.
- You know the New Zealand H&S regulatory/legislative requirements inside out
- You are collaborative, compelling, self-driven, solutions focused
- Communication is your forte; your approach will ensure strong understanding and buy in
- You develop and maintain strong professional partnerships to influence change at every level
- You are able to analyse key data and use this to inform and implement improvements and change

The opportunity:

- To help lead and drive change in key areas across the Health, Safety & Wellbeing space
- Undertake projects and operationalise improvements to drive leading practice and outcomes
- Be a valued member of a high-performing and respected team, supporting our GM, People & Talent, and the wider SLT team, along with people leaders across the organisation
- Strengthen and improve our health & safety management system and lead our H&S Committee.
