**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Working in one of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato's rural hospitals, in the rohe of Te Nehenehenui and surrounding rohe, this role provides an opportunity for you to use your clinical skills in the ED, acute, rehabilitation and inpatient units as part of a Multidisciplinary team. You will manage and lead a caseload of patients in the Emergency and Inpatient units, giving you the opportunity to create, lead, share and contribute in quality activities.

- Must have current New Zealand practising certificate-
- Emergency Care Experience-
- Critical thinking in all areas - essential-
- At least 3 years nursing experience in an acute and/or rehabilitation area-

- The Inpatient Unit and Emergency Department run concurrently with a team of nurses and doctors, we also liaise with colleagues at our base hospital, Waikato Hospital, based in Hamilton city.
- We run an Outpatients Department with approximately nine speciality clinicians, who travel from Waikato Hospital to Te Kuiti to provide this service.
