The University of Otago is New Zealand's first and oldest University. It has a strong teaching and research tradition and well-established national and international linkages.

UniFlats is a residential community which offers in excess of 700 single head lease and University owned rooms. Residents include domestic undergraduate, post graduate, and international students. The UniFlats collegiate community offers social and recreational opportunities in a well-managed residential environment that fosters a sense of belonging and enhances the University of Otago experience.

**_The role/Te mahi_**

The Warden of UniFlats has management responsibility for the operation, and oversight for the development of the collegiate experience.

We seek an experienced leader who is adept in building and leading a culture of innovation, consistency and continuous improvement.

- Have demonstrated outstanding leadership, management and organisation skills.
- Have the ability to perform effectively and professionally in a complex and challenging environment, including mental health and resident wellbeing related incidents.
- Have the ability to negotiate in a pragmatic direction.
- Have superb communication skills.
