We are the national entity which represents Māori Wardens. We have a website but not yet a social media presence.

Māori Wardens are volunteers who live by this whakatauki: Aroha ki te tanaga - for the love of the people.

But now we need to create a social media presence. We need to build this in a thoughtful way so it will be easy to manage.

Are you someone who could help us achieve this?

For the time being the role is voluntary but all reasonable expenses of travelling to certain major events (e.g. Waitangi) would be paid for.

We are hoping to obtain funding for an ongoing part time role. If we do, there is the potential for ongoing part time work managing our online presence.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Strategic about using social media to build brand
- Skilled at creating content (photos, video, short descriptions)
- Able to create and manage online platforms
- Thoughtful/strategic about how to build a presence for ongoing management
- Passionate about the work of wardens and able to demonstrate their work in the best possible light.

We are looking for someone who would be able to commit 20 hours per month, initially for a period of six months.

You would have guidance from the national entity’s adviser and trustees.
