Auckland Council’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team has a unique opportunity to join us in our team, as **Mental Health Wellbeing Advisor** | Kaitohutohu Hinengaro Hauora.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

This role requires experience in similar wellbeing related roles, from within large and complex organisations. With your knowledge of Kaupapa Māori principles and understanding of Te Ao Māori, particularly in relation to hauora and Te Whare Tapa Whā.

We will be looking for specific experience with:

- Delivering successful well-being strategies and plans
- A relevant tertiary degree in business, human resources, psychology **or **equivalent of lived work experience.
- 5 years’ experience of working in Mental Health & Wellbeing, counselling or related field
- Strong understanding of Te Ao Māori, with the ability to use te reo Māori, tikanga, and matauranga Māori to communicate and inform wellbeing practice
