The Chapter is responsible for creating beautifully crafted, engaging and highly functional/usable experiences across multiple channels and platforms, that enhance our customers’ shopping experiences and the way our brand shows up digitally.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for evolving the experience for how our customers discover, browse and search for relevant products as a part of their everyday online shopping experience. This role is a key part of a cross-functional team to embed design thinking and lead experience design activities with strategic influence.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Contribute to the experience vision and strategy for your product or experience space, working in close collaboration with the Product Manager and the stakeholders across the business.
- Identify and prioritise design problems and opportunities, articulate UX outcomes and inform product roadmaps.
- Lead design thinking activities to impact the achievement of customer, business, project or service goals.
- Work on complex, strategic priorities leveraging insights and analytics to make data driven decisions around opportunity prioritisation to achieve business and customer experience vision.
- Lead the UX research and design process for propositions, experiences and journeys from discovery through to in-life monitoring.
- Shape and run discovery research, workshops, co-design sessions and design sprints to align on problems to be solved, and inform the value/complexity trade offs in potential solutions to drive final solution design.
- Create UX artefacts such as wireframes, customer journey maps, user flows, sketches and interactive prototypes, through to high-fidelity production-ready UI and visual designs.
- Coach and mentor other designers to drive an uplift in their practice.

**About You | Mōu
To succeed in this role you will have proven technical UX Design capabilities and an ability to foster strong relationships and have a real impact in the team, bringing your strong communication and collaborative abilities. You will see the big picture and partner across multi functions.
- At least 6+ years UX, product or service design experience within complex customer-focussed commercial environments.
- A strong command of UX methods including but limited to user testing and interviews, co-design workshops, journey mapping, user flows, information architecture, wireframing and interaction design.
- Has contributed to multiple shipped products/experiences with a complex and diverse scope, with accountability for defining the goals and approach and achieving the customer, business, product or service outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and persuade for the best customer and business outcomes with a growth mindset and attitude.
- Strong research skills across a variety of design thinking methods including qualitative/quantitative, lean/extensive, field/lab, and proposition/design testing.
- Experience designing for a multitude of platforms (web, iOS, Android, etc) and cross-channel digital-physical experiences.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and methodologies
- Experience in retail or e-commerce environments is a significant advantage.
- Capability in core design and prototyping tools (Figma, Miro, Axure, etc.) is an asset.
