**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Registered Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a **Research Fellow in Neuropsychology, **to undertake Neuropsychological testing of patients in the Dementia Prevention Research Clinic (DPRC). You will join a diverse team in the Centre for Brain Research, and contribute to clinical research which focuses on positive outcomes for our communities.

In this role, you will also contribute to Research activities, write publications, and translate research findings into practice and policy. You will be responsible for maintaining electronic research records, and patient reports, and ensuring that ethics requirements for DPRC are appropriately applied.

This role requires someone who is empathetic, organised, and adaptable to join our multidisciplinary team. or our mahi, it is also essential that you feel confident in your computer literacy skills. It would be an advantage to have prior experience in using electronic forms and databases, including experience with statistical and word processing packages.

This is a **part-time** (20 hours per week), **fixed term** (up to 12 months) opportunity.
The remuneration is RF1 $94,981 - RF7 $113,463 per annum, pro-rata for part-time hours. For highly experienced and senior staff a higher salary may be negotiable.

**Qualifications** He kōrero mōu | About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Clinical Neuropsychology PhD or Doctorate of Clinical Psychology.
- Clinical experience including neuropsychological assessments, neuropsychological test administration, and the ability to interpret neuropsychological tests.
- Neuropsychological knowledge of early dementia syndromes.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to deal with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Previous experience in engaging with Māori patients and families would be an advantage.
- Effective communication skills.
