An exciting opportunity for an experienced Landowner Liaison Officer has come up in our Rotorua Transmission Team.
- **The role**
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for liaising with Landowners and stakeholders for Transmission line maintenance and project works being carried out for Transpower in the Bay of Plenty and Rotorua regions. You will also:
- Advice Landowners on restrictions to land use caused by the work
- Respond to Landowner complaints/conflict in a timely manner
- Notify stakeholders immediately on the receipt of a complaint/conflict
- Liaise with outside organisations about how they can work safely around Power Lines

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will display strong people skills and enthusiasm to learn and grow. You will be able to manage challenging situations in a calm, mature manner using appropriate conflict de-escalation methods. We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- At least 2 years of experience in the Transmission industry dealing with stakeholders ( preferred not essential )
- Knowledge and understanding of Transmission related rules and guidelines will be advantageous
- Proven ability to build trust and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills especially within a multi-cultural environment
- Effective problem-solving capability
- Enjoy working in a busy team environment, yet able to work self-directed
- A full NZ Driver License
- Tenacity in taking problems through to successful outcomes
