Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This role would suit a current Executive Assistant who wants to hit the ground running, or a PA who is looking for a development opportunity and wants to take the next step in their career.
The Executive Assistant provides proactive, executive level secretarial and administrative assistance and support to the Executive Director of Clinical Excellence and to the Group Manager. This role is the hub of the department and, as such, also provides support for the Centre of Clinical Excellence (CoCE) as a whole. This role is a critical function within the CoCE and is key in providing excellent coordination and administrative support to keep the CoCE - s operations running.
Considerable initiative is required as is the ability to take a big picture approach by anticipating needs. Maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is crucial to this.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Significant administration experience
- Strong project and information management experience
- Excellent SharePoint/MS Office skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse groups
- Highly developed written and oral skills - the ability to communicate ideas in writing and verbally
- Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet delivery of commitments
