We have exciting opportunities for Clinical Coders to join our Clinical Coding team, at Middlemore Hospital. We are looking for individuals who are keen to work for the roles outline below;
- Permanent full time Monday to Friday
- Casual role Monday to Friday, on call basis and need to be available to cover at short notice.

Our Clinical Coding team, at Middlemore Hospital, is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed team players and bring a positive outlook and professional work ethic to our team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong English comprehension is essential.

We can offer you a supportive and fun team environment where professional development is encouraged. The Clinical Coding Department, at Middlemore hospital currently operates under the National Clinical Coding Framework Progression Criteria.

**Essential**:

- HIMAA Certificate or ACE qualification
- Minimum 3 years coding experience in a wide range of clinical specialities
- Current ICD-10-AM 12th Edition coding experience
- Experience and sound understanding of Casemix and diagnosis related groupers.
- An excellent team player
