**The role**:
Due to an internal promotion, our Governance and Compliance team is on the lookout for a Health & Safety Facilities Administrator. In this role you will provide administration support to the Health & Safety team whilst also managing the AA's reception, mail services and Head Office facilities requirements. This is to help facilitate the improvement of a modern, sensible health and safety culture where hazard and risk management, knowledge, education and employee involvement becomes part of normal business practice within the wider AA Organisation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Reception duties - meeting and greeting of clients and visitors
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing couriers
- Maintain Head Office Security Access system
- Liaising with external contractors to arrange general property repairs and maintenance
- Monitoring expiry dates of service agreements and recommended appropriate action (e.g. renewal, modify or cancel)
- Administering the SafetyBase system making sure all Health & Safety data and information is recorded and maintained
- Managing and review Health & Safety contractor and employee induction documentation and registers
- Providing administration support to the Health & Safety committee as required
- Reviewing incident/injury reporting, recording and investigation processes including the quality of information produced
**Skills and experience required**:

- NCEA Level 1 or equivalent
- Prior admin experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer knowledge and keyboard skills
- Self-motivation and initiative
