About the job
Come join our amazing Supply Chain team in Auckland as a **Planning Manager** based at Airport Oaks. As a key member of the team, you will execute robust plans that meet business requirements focused on optimizing efficiency and costs.

Reporting to the Upstream Supply Manager, you will drive continuous improvement within the Planning function and will be responsible for providing transparent supply and material plans to the local and regional teams to deliver the service level and operational targets.

You will:

- Lead, develop, and motivate the Auckland Planning team focused on driving efficient planning and business requirements.
- Ensures effective Production, Material, and Deployment plans are executed by the planning team to support business demand.
- Generate weekly production plan (rolling 78 weeks) based on the latest demand from business and plant capacity. Incorporate weekly mid-term planning (4-13 weeks) capacity/production planning and DOH projection based on weekly business inputs on actual sales/GIT.
- Maintain short
- and long-term capacity plans to ensure the accuracy of MPS and using demand and plant capacity, propose and recommend scenarios to business.
- Coordinate and report weekly and monthly planning KPI’s both with the planning team and other functions working cross-functionally to ensure targets are met.
- Accurate analysis of data and provide recommendations and insights to the leadership team to make informed decisions
- Lead the future rollouts of new planning tools and systems and provide training for key users
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for the design and implementation of the plans.

About you
You are an experienced Planning professional with an excellent background in fast fast-paced manufacturing industry. You come with prior experience in Demand/Production/ Material/Deployment planning with a flair for leading and developing teams. Your stakeholder engagement, planning skills, and proficiency in Excel and systems will help you succeed in this role. You enjoy connecting with people, building relations, and working collaboratively to achieve business goals.

To be successful, you will also have:

- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Commerce/Business or any related field
- Intermediate to Aavanced experience in Excel
- Prior experience in Demand/Production/Material or Deployment Planning and Analysis with an FMCG or Pharma company is desired
- Strong leadership experience with an ability to motivate and develop a small team
- Any ERP/MRP system experience or experience with SAP is highly desired
- Great communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work with shifting priorities
