We have an exciting new opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre as a **Digital Product Specialist.**

As part of our Customer Digital Experience team, you’ll be responsible for translating customer needs and business requirements into clear and actionable product features. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager, SME’s, and external partners to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Your primary focus will be on managing the product backlog and ensuring that our external partners deliver the right features in the short-medium term. You have decision making authority on how features are delivered.

**Reporting to the Product Manager - Digital, your key functions will include**:

- ** Product Vision and Strategy**: Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand and contribute to the digital experience vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- ** Product Development Oversight**: Act as the main point of contact for the external partner team during the sprint. Provide clarifications and ensure that the team's work aligns with the defined outcome.
- ** Product Backlog Management**: Develop and maintain a value driven prioritised product backlog that aligns with the product roadmap and OKRs. Has decision making authority on how features are delivered.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a shared understanding of the product vision and successful product development. Solves dependencies with other Product Owners & Product Specialists and keep everyone informed and aligned.
- ** Sprint Planning**: Participate in sprint planning meetings to communicate the priorities and requirements to the development team. Collaborate with the team to estimate the effort required for each user story.
- ** Sprint Review**: Participate in sprint reviews to provide feedback on completed work and verify that it meets the acceptance criteria. Approves solution readiness and orchestrates change management. Pulls in SMEs as required.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of four years experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile software development environment.
- Experience in agile methodologies.
- A working knowledge of product management tools and software is desired eg Productboard.
- Analysis and evaluation of highly complex issues.
- Digitally well-rounded with a passion for digital experiences.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, especially SAFe.
