**About the opportunity**

Due to an internal promotion, we have a vacancy for the IT Change Manager. The focus of the role is to lead IT Service Management activities, ensuring Fonterra IT and our Partners always operate with our business customers best interests in mind and have the necessary information available to make the best decisions, in a timely manner that result in the best possible operational outcomes.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure the design of the Change Management and Operational Readiness policies, process and procedures, toolset, policies and business rules are fit for purpose, documented, clear and always available for stakeholders
- Provide reporting across key operational KPIs and metrics to IT Stakeholders to track value and success of the Change Management process
- Facilitate and ensure the right outcomes are always in focus when dealing with multi-vendor situations and issues.
- Participate in the ‘IT Duty Manager’ roster as part of the Major Incident Management response processes, providing 24x7 operational point of contact.
- Facilitate key change management meetings (e.g. Change Advisory Board/CAB) and service management meetings
- Lead Failed change reviews as required and implement any necessary improvements.
- Work closely with the ITSM & ITOM Product Owner to ensure processes are streamlined and robust within the Service Management tool and new features and enhancement are considered in a timely fashion
- Coordinate the onboarding of required parties onto the IT Service Management Platform and ensure readiness to use and adhere to all policies and procedures across the Change and Operational Readiness processes
- Work closely with the wider IT Service Management Team (Operational Support Managers and Service Experience/Service Desk) both on a day-to-day basis and with respect to consistent and holistic process design

**About you**
Attributes that will help you succeed in this role:

- Proven industry experience
- Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline.
- ITIL v3 Foundation
- Knowledge of the service delivery and service support areas of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Knowledge of various IT disciplines and the inter-relationships between them
- Ability to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- A proven ability to plan, prioritize, manage, and track numerous concurrent activities to successful outcome
- Experience in an IT service provider role working for an IT supplier
- Specific background in IT Change Management
- Experience working in a multi-vendor IT environment
- Excellent relationship management and customer service skills
