Ward 10 is a 27 bed General
Surgical ward which provides acute and elective care across Colorectal,
Vascular, Urology, Breast and Trauma specialties and includes a 3 bed
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). We practice in a collaborative patient partnership model of care to
achieve best possible outcomes for our patients/families and whānau.
We are
a team of compassionate and respectful nurses who thrive on high levels of job
satisfaction. Nurses are encouraged to participate in professional development
opportunities and experience within the IMCU facilitates opportunities to
challenge your knowledge and practise caring for high acuity patients.
Our
nurses' benefit from great working relationships between multidisciplinary
health professionals and the surgical teams.
Shifts will be rostered and rotating
Sunday to Monday, with the
flexibility to swap shifts and request preferred rosters.

**You will**:

- be a NZ

Registered or Enrolled Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and
post-registration nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- be a
team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice.
- have excellent organisational and time management skills, and a commitment to
quality.Te Whatu Ora staff are required to have completed their primary course of two NZ
approved COVID-19 vaccinations.
