Nelson Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Endoscopy suite. We are a friendly and supportive team focusing on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice. Shifts are rostered and rotating across Sunday to Monday with on call after hours.

**We have the following** positions available**:

- 1 x permanent 0.8FTE - working 64 hours a fortnight.
- 2 x casual positions working on an _as required_ basis assisting with peak capacity and covering staff leave.

**Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)**

You will be a NZ Registered Nurse, or Enrolled Nurse, with a current APC and post-registration experience working with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team. You will have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills and a real commitment to providing quality patient-centred care. You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
