**Maintenance Support - Permanent Part time - 10+ hours a week**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As the one responsible for Maintenance, you will play a vital role in the upkeep and maintenance of New World Papakura. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facility. Your dedication and commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality will make a significant impact on our staff and customers. Minimum 10 hours a week. Some of key responsibilities/tasks may include:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing and carpentry work
- Handle basic landscaping and outdoor maintenance
- Maintain and repair equipment as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance carried out
- Ensure all Health & Safety and Food Safety protocols are followed
- Coordinate with contractors when necessary
- Assist in the cleaning of onsite equipment/machinery when required
**ABOUT THE CANDIDATE**
- Relevant trade experience
- Physically fit and able to fulfil all work duties
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- NZ Driver’s License
- Right to work in New Zealand
