Ibis Budget Auckland Central, located just off Queen Street in the heart of Auckland's CBD, is a hotel servicing a mixture of corporate and leisure short stay guests and long stay residents. With 144 comfortable rooms, featuring balconies and kitchenette facilities we are currently recruiting for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Maintenance Team. **Job Description**:

- Identify and resolve maintenance defects, complete tasks as part of the preventative maintenance program.
- Committed to promoting sustainability and to encourage the effective use of energy and water.
- Work closely with the Hotel Manager to manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Assist in maintaining the Hotel buildings, budgets, expenses and activity logs and monitor inventory of materials and equipment

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in Maintenance or Hotel background is preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical or HVAC systems is essential
