**Job Description**:
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and deliver outstanding If so, this exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Manager. The opportunity will put your career into high gear, challenge yourself, and fully leverage your cost management experience.
Day to day tasks, your tasks will include:
- Provision of cost estimates for civil and (horizontal) infrastructure projects
- Preparation of quantities from a range of drawings with varying levels of detail
- Cost advice at all stages of the design process and during projects
- Post-contract cost management services, as required
- Preparation and evaluation of Risk Registers as part of a commercial reporting process.
- Delivering excellent service to clients in all aspects of a project life cycle
**Qualifications**:
You will be a natural team player who can demonstrate:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a cost estimator / quantity surveyor / cost manager (minimum 5 years civils/ horizontal infrastructure experience)
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients
- Experience in the preparation of estimates from first principles
- Commercial acumen and ability to self manage and mentor junior team members
- Operates with high standards of integrity
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Member of RICS or NZIQS would be advantageou
