H2R Technology are on the lookout for an experienced Licensing Specialist to join an established team and aid in the management of the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise software.

Due to internal secondment, there is an opportunity to join a central government department and work within an established team. In addition to the technical skills required to do this role, you must also have really strong interpersonal skills. Critical to this role is the ability to develop and maintain the trust and credibility of various business stakeholders, and have a ‘team success’ mentality.

**Key areas of this role include**:

- Ensuring asset lifecycles are compliant with this organisations strategic directives.
- Ensure software assets are fit for purpose, compliant with licensing terms and conditions and are managed to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with various business units and architects to ensure enterprise software demands can be well integrated into the current environment in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Continue in the development of an enterprise licensing approach; helping the business become more efficient but optimising exciting licenses rather that always having to buy more.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Proven experience working with software licensing terms, conditions, maintenance and support contracts.
- Experience managing licensing for key strategic suppliers.
- Experience working with cloud licencing and services.
