Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:
The Digital Data and Insights group leads, connects and strengthens MBIE's core data and insights, digital and technology capabilities.
This is an exciting new role part of the Asset and Supplier Management team to bring you experience to deliver to a high standard.
Key areas of this role include:
- Ensuring Digital Data and Insights asset lifecycles are compliant with the MBIE's strategic aims, are fit for purpose, are compliant with licensing terms and conditions and are managed to a high standard.
- Meeting the evolving enterprise software demands of Digital Data and Insights in a costeffective and timely manner.
- Adopting a Digital Data and Insights enterprise licensing approach that shifts the group from continuing to buy new licenses to optimising the use of existing licenses.
- Proven experience working with the SNOW solution for IT Asset Management, including software licensing terms, conditions, maintenance and support contracts.
- Demonstrated experience managing licensing for key strategic suppliers.
- Proven experience working with cloud licencing and services.
- Proven ability to optimise software licences, minimise associated spending, whilst remaining compliant.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain the trust and credibility of senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Understanding of corporate management disciplines, techniques and understanding of Government decisionmaking and operating procedures coupled with experience in change management.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive comparable experience.
