**About the role**
Acting as a key point of contact, our Customer Services Officers provide a high level of service to our customers, 6 days a week, based at our City Depot in Woolston.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- First point of telephone contact for customers calling LPC
- Completing and updating vessel schedules
- Administering and removing holds on containers
- Data entry
- Coordination of transport moves to and from the Lyttelton Port Terminal
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer service role (ideally within the shipping or logistics industry)
- Comfortable working in a Team environment
- Able to work effectively when the pressure is on and use their initiative to take appropriate action to resolve any issues
- Have a high level of attention to detail and be a competent computer user
- Be available to work a six - week rotating shift roster currently compromising of one Saturday every 6 weeks
- The ability and willingness to model LPC's values and behaviour's including supporting a culture that promotes safety, engagement, and a continuous improvement
**Covid-19 Vaccination**
All roles are required to be performed by a person who has had the primary course of two COVID-19 vaccinations.
