**Mō te tūnga - About the role**:
- We are searching for a forward-thinking Principal Developer to drive the development of MYOB's Enterprise products and platforms. You will work with modern technologies to deliver intuitive experiences using your knowledge to:
- Lead, mentor, and empower the team to define, refine and incrementally move to a technical vision whilst delivering great customer experiences.
- Lead collaboration with technical and non-technical leaders to deliver and evolve the vision.
- Support breaking business problems into small initiatives to deliver value to customers incrementally whilst taking steps to the vision.
- Build platform capabilities to help deliver customer outcomes sooner.

- As a Principal within the team, and across the domain, you will form, communicate and lead a clear technical vision and strategy. You will collaborate closely with your delivery and engineering leads. You will be a hands-on practitioner as well as a leader, mentor, and coach.
- Work with our multi-functional and complementary team of Principals, who encourage collaboration, learning, and for everyone to have a voice and take ownership of the work.

**Ngā whakatinanatanga I te tūnga - What you will bring to role**:
- Technical leadership and the ability to communicate ideas, processes, concepts, and practices clearly.
- Proficiency with C# backend development stacks, REST APIs.
- Mentoring skills that enable you to coach and improve technical, analytical, and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of modern front-end SPAs in one of the major frameworks.
- SQL knowledge, including performance tuning of complex enterprise workloads.
- An ability to deliver well-designed, high-quality, and robust solutions.
- Pragmatism to balance short-term delivery focus with longer-term objectives.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies, and a desire to extend your knowledge in this domain.
- A technical leader that encourages and enables a culture of sustained technical excellence within our company.
- A growth mentality and the dedication to continuously improve personal and team processes, practices, and performance.
- Drive the practice of powerful engineering techniques such as DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and progressive delivery on cloud-native solutions.
