Compliance Manager

Our lovely store is seeking a skilled and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team.
**The Role**
To ensure the store complies with all food safety, health and safety and other compliance regulations and legislation.
Key components of the role include;
- Ensure for all Health & safety and Food safety procedures and systems within the store that they are appropriately maintained at a level which ensures compliance in all audits.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is compliant e.g. scales certification / forklift maintenance.
- Undertake hazard reviews and investigate serious accidents. Follow up reports of H&S hazards in the store. Collect and collate accident forms.
- Manage monthly committee meeting process for H&S.
- Food Safety - Over seeing and ensuring all Food Safety records and processes meet the requirements of our Food Control Plan. Where discrepancies occur, you are responsible for undertaking the appropriate Corrective Actions which may include retraining of Department Managers and Team Members. Carrying out internal department and store audits.
- Health & Safety - Investigating accidents, undertaking hazard reviews and working with the Health & Safety Working Group and Management Team to continually develop a 'Safety' culture.
- Prepare for and take part in internal (Foodstuffs) and external Food Safety/Health & Safety audits, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
- Involves in Recruitment Processes
- Assist on some Administrative tasks in the Office Department.
