**Who are we looking for?**
**About the role**
We are looking for a technically strong Group Tax Manager to join our Finance team to manage tax compliance for the wider Vista Group. This role requires a good level of technical tax skills and experience, with focus on the following areas:

- Management of global tax compliance including all technical aspects of direct, indirect and employment taxes including preparation and filing of tax returns for all the Vista Group entities.
- Tax accounting - preparation of tax calculations (including deferred tax and current tax reconciliations), tax journals and related financial reporting disclosures.
- Liaising with external advisers, auditors and New Zealand and overseas tax authorities.
- Assisting the business when required including advising on tax technical issues to identify and mitigate potential tax issues to minimise tax risk across the Group.
- Implementing tax risk management policies and implementing new procedures.
- Supporting the transfer pricing position for the global group including reviewing related-party transactions and preparation of relevant documentation.

**Who are we looking for?**
To be considered for this role, you will need:

- CAANZ CA qualification or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of tax experience within a professional services firm or similar in-house function.
- Accounting or law tertiary qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute positively to the team environment.
- Experience with Navision or similar group ERP system.
- Advanced Excel spreadsheeting skills.
- Experience in working with foreign currency transactions and currency translations (advantage).
