In this cross-functional role, you will be responsible for supporting the **Field Sales Manager and field team, as well as the Foodstuffs National Business Manager.**

This role will see you working on a multitude of support activities, reports, and administrative duties, providing you with learning opportunities to build a strong foundation within grocery sales, account management and field operations.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Field Support (50%)**:

- Develop front line sales tool kits for the SC Johnson field team and third-party merchandisers
- Act as an interface between Head Office and Field functions.
- Assist Category and Customer Marketing in developing narrative based sell in tool kits for the sales organisation, such as point of sale materials
- Provide Field Sales team with excellent administration support covering a variety of reports, trackers, program activity and distribution information
- Management of the Excel workbooks that the sales team use to manage forecasting and trade spend

**Foodstuffs Management (40%)**:

- Assist the Associate Manager for Foodstuffs over a broad range of tasks; with main focus on Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI).
- Learn then manage Forecast Change Management (maintain FIN model) including all metrics
- Manage promotional submissions in Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI) online portal.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) presentations and briefings
- Develop knowledge of and assist with Category review process
- Learn and act as backup Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for both Foodstuffs North and South Island
- Develop your budding Account Management skills under the tutelage of a strong people and sales coach, by managing a customer of your very own
- A variety of other learning opportunities and tasks as required.

**Other (10%)**:

- Be responsible for managing & updating price lists, and product catalogues
- Technical support to the Sales team to assist with management of the workbooks (FINs) that the team use for forecasting and trade spend
- Provides data analysis / reporting to the NZ business as it related to workbooks (FINs).
- Ad-Hoc reporting and tracking of key business scorecards across all functions
- Support the sales team with management of trade shows and customer expos as required.
- All miscellaneous adhoc work as required

**Required Skills / Experience / Competencies**:

- Ability to manage ambiguity, multi-task like a beast and work at pace
- Experience working autonomously
- Excellent understanding of the English language with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of delivering objectives consistently
- Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Office - Strong Excel is a requirement
- Analytical mindset, comfortability with numbers, data and reporting

**Desirable Attributes / Behaviours / Competencies**:

- Enthusiastic attitude with a desire to learn and be part of a robust, close team
- Multi-functional experience in a Sales and Business Analytics/Support role with FMCG, Retail or Grocery would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of the NZ Customer Base
- SAP experience
- Experience with market scan or ex-factory data i.e. Nielsen, Dunhumby, IRA or Business Warehouse
