We are seeking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to effectively manage our supply chain and ensure a smooth and uninterrupted order process from entry to delivery of products in New Zealand.

This role will be part of our APAC regional supply chain team, supporting our Health, Nutrition & Care (HNC) business in New Zealand.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Review and update all Supply Chain Planning reports - Ageing stock report, S&OP report, Supply plan, Inventory report, stock reconciliation with warehouse and lead the write off process.
- Review Allocation/constrained supply reports for DSM materials and manage/request support for any shortfalls in supply. Review and determine inventory optimal levels and update planning parameters in SAP.
- Purchasing related tasks such as converting the P-req to PO and manage all damages and issue CCR and lodge all claims required for cost recovery. Manage import permits and liase with MPI if needed. Understand the import requirements and act proactively to allow a smooth import process.
- Manage and liase with customs brokerage and other 3PLs to ensure prompt clearance and delivery of goods into warehouse to achieve KPIs such as - stock accuracy, customer delivery, customer complaints etc.
- Work closely with all 3PL parties and internal stakeholder on process and cost improvement initiatives for the end-to-end supply chain.
- Support the Customer Care team and work closely with Sales Account Managers in sales order review and confirmation, planning for new inventory requirements as and when needed.

**You bring**
- At least 6 years of experience in managing supply chain in a similar industry (ingredient supplier, food or supplement manufacturer).
- Be well versed with inventory planning/ supply chain terms, activities and processes.
- Have experience working with SAP (Production planning, material management modules - DSM uses P45, P43,Q 26) MRP functions and APO (advance planning & optimization module), SAP IBP (integrated business planning).
- Knowledge and understanding of New Zealand custom clearance process and requirements.
- Have high level proficiency of the Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Have strong verbal and communication skills, with proven ability to influence, negotiate, strategize and make quick, sound decisions. Be open minded.
