**About the opportunity**

As the Senior Learning & Development Advisor, you will report directly to the General Manager of People & Culture and collaborate with all divisions across Pan Pac, including three operational divisions. In your role, you will play a key part in designing, delivering, and analysing people development resources, processes, practices and strategies, ensuring they align with organisation's strategic and operational goals. A core aspect of your role will involve supporting people development, competency management, and training services to ensure Pan Pac employees are equipped with the support, resources, skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles and reach their full potential. By fostering strong internal relationships, you will elevate the significance of people development, resulting in greater staff engagement and added value for the company.

This role is Monday - Friday, based in Hawkes Bay.

**About you**

You have professional training or development expertise and have proven experience delivering substantial results.

You also have:

- A tertiary qualification in a related field
- A minimum 5 years’ experience in a training or development position
- Experience in blue collar environments would be advantageous
- Proven ability to facilitate training sessions
- Proven ability to develop and successfully implement policies, processes and strategies
- The ability to work with and present to all levels in an organisation
- Strong interpersonal, relationship and influencing skills
- The ability to proactively identify customers’ needs
- Experience using Korn Ferry Leadership Architect would be advantageous. An understanding of competency frameworks is essential
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 suite, experience using the Articulate software would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral (presentation/facilitation) communication skills
- The ability to plan and organise well, multitask and deliver on promises
- A high degree of emotional intelligence
- Strong commercial acumen and customer focus
