Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand scaling from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join our Auckland Logistics team.

This role will be responsible for ensuring cost effective management of all inventory and inventory related issues on one of our client’s sites.

**What you'll do**
- Supervise forklift operators completing unpack/picking activities.
- Plan all unpack and put away tasks to best utilise warehouse space.
- Be the main point of contact for customer inquiries regarding inventory levels etc.
- Plan outbound freight movements in conjunction with warehouse supervisor
- Be responsible for accuracy of picking and unpack tasks.
- Be responsible for keeping WMS up to date with unpacks/outbound.
- Performing checks on stock picked by forklift operators before being loaded for delivery.
- To act as an extension of the customer’s business, by providing effective and accurate reporting back to the customer

**What you'll need**
- Working experience in a 3PL warehousing environment (2-4 years)
- Inventory/cycle count experience preferred (2-4 years)
- Knowledge of Warehouse/Freight handling
- NZQA Logistics or equivalent tertiary business qualification Level 6 or higher
