The Urology Service Administration team schedule
and manage clinics for six services. Every day in Urology is different with
administration staff assisting the SMO and Nursing team to manage/book
outpatient clinics that will be held in this facility.
We - re looking for an amazing person whose
personality is welcoming and friendly. If you can prioritise multiple work
tasks, enjoy working in a high functioning team, and have a passion for
arranging administration tasks for our patients we would like to hear from you.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
- Providing great service and direction to customers, staff and
whānau
- Professional timely service
- All aspects of administration including typing a range of medical
documents, both written and Dictaphone.
- Co-ordinate and manage patient booking
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Answering department telephone
- Support Front of House staff when requiredNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
**This role requires the following**:
**Essential**:
- Excellent customer service skills - people focused
- Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving
skills
- Ability to achieve accuracy and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work unsupervised
- A team player Intermediate to advanced user in the Microsoft
suite of products e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel
- Excellent keyboard skills
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated perceptiveness and a proactive approach in an
**administrator role.Desired**:
- Broad administrative experience in a health-related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology (optional)
- Good English spelling and grammar
- Familiarity with the public hospital system (including the patient
management system)
