**Permanent Senior Policy Analyst role available for someone looking to grow their experience with legislative policy.**

**About the organisation**:
Our client is one of the larger ministries who support local and national communities in developing the building blocks of the future. Through commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, they work to improve equity of access, on-going support and equity of outcomes that drive positive change for Aotearoa.

**About the role**:

- Outreach to numerous establishments and training providers for data capture
- Collation of data and extracting several action points
- Creating guidance and policy options for the sector and minister
- Develop evaluation frameworks to support on
- going capability analysis
- Shepherd and oversee the progress of bills, select committees
- Learn the legislative and regulatory impacts and processes
- Liaise with various stakeholders in an internal and external capacity

**What you’ll need**:

- Excellent stakeholder management skills - ability to reach out to all parties for additional information
- A Pure policy background - familiar will all the elements of Policy creation and roll out
- Strong analytical and strategy development skills
- Strong machinery of government knowledge and experience
- Commitment to and respect for the principles of Te Tiri o Waitangi Aotearoa
