**About this role**:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns that boost the awareness and reputation of our institution. You’ll dive into market, brand, and audience data to uncover valuable insights and work closely with various teams to ensure our marketing plans hit the mark. From creating engaging advertising materials to executing campaign and sponsorship plans, your creativity and expertise will shine through.

**Title**: Senior Marketing Specialist
**Type**: Permanent full-time position
**Location**: Te Awamutu
**Hours**: 37.5 per week
**Days**: Monday - Friday

Key responsibilities include:

- Design, create, and deliver marketing strategies to support the growth and reputation of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa’s academic programmes.
- Leverage market, brand, and audience data to build marketing insights.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure clear market positioning and effective marketing plans.
- Implement portfolio planning, briefing, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Execute campaign and sponsorship plans in consultation with the reporting manager.
- Develop accurate and specific course materials, online information, course guides, and brochures.
- Champion the effective use of social media and other channels to reach target audiences.

**About you**
- We’re looking for someone who has the following:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven track record in managing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience in digital marketing
- A good grasp of mātauranga and tikanga Māori would be a big plus.
- You’ll need to be proficient with tools like Google Analytics and have excellent analytical and communication skills.
